Aurora Marion is a Belgian-Rwandan and Greek actress. Growing up in theatres, drama schools and studios, following her separated parents as a girl, she had no other desire than to follow this path and get on stage and in front of the camera. Unwilling to be the “daughter of”, on the other hand, she left to England at the age of 18 to work it out alone.

She started acting in “Almayer’s Folly” shot in Cambodia by Chantal Akerman in which she had the first female role, Nina. She was nominated as one of the “Most Promising Actress” at the Magrittes du cinéma in 2013 for this role. During the Venice Film Festival, where “Almayer’s Folly” was premiered, she met Athina Rachel Tsangari who offered her a role in “The Capsule”. Since then, she carried on working in films and theatres in different countries and languages. In 2018, she received a Magritte award for best supporting actress in the film “Noces” directed by Stephan Streker.
